Thank you for visiting!

I buy used Lithium Ion batteries, mainly 18650 because they are just so readily available but I am open to buying others if you have tested them for good quality and you have enough of them that I can make something out them.

I don't have time to do the harvesting and testing myself, but I find it distasteful to pay retail when there are so many good batteries out there that we could recycle. I made this site because I need larger quantities of batteries for the large systems I want to build so I am looking for a few good men and women to form a mutually beneficial relationship to help me build some large battery systems and me help you make some money.

Why work with or sell to me?

Prompt Payments

I will pay you promptly and not haggle with you if organize per my standards below.

Cash or Paypal

I will pay you in cash or Paypal, no questions asked, you are independent business owner as far as I’m concerned.

Consistent Buyer

I need a lot of batteries so after we make a good relationship then you will have someone to sell to for multiple years to come

What will I buy, for what price:

18650 batteries - 2000-2499mAh - $1.00/cell

For non LiFePO4, their supposed to be at a nominal 3.6-3.7V and at ~4.2V when fully charged. You need to to test the voltages to make sure the voltage is good and then run it through a good charge/discharge cycle to document the mAh.

I generally want flat tops made by LG, Sony, Panasonic/Sanyo, or Samsung, but I may buy others at a $0.20 discount if properly tested and we have a relationship of previous trust (your batteries test out good). I don’t want anything under 2000mAh.

18650 batteries - 2500-2999mAh - $1.25/cell

Same quality checks as above.

18650 batteries - 3000-3500mAh - $1.50/cell

Same quality checks as above.

18650 LiFePO4 batteries - 1500-2500mAh - $1.25/cell

I know these retail for more but I’m after Wh here and it doesn’t help me… So I’m willing to take them off your hands even if it seems a little skewed from the brand new retail market.

Same quality checks as above except these have a nominal voltage of ~3.2V.

Examples of what I do not want:

18650 Batteries that are below 2000mAH

Except for the LiFePO4 batteries mentioned to the left, I need higher capacity to build the battery systems I am designing.

Any battery that will not hold a nominal Voltage

Generally, I want 18650 batteries and that should be around 3.6-3.7 Volts, around 4.2 Volts when fully charged, and never discharge(d) below 2.5 Volts.

Any battery that gets hot when you charge or discharge them

There is probably something wrong with it and it could be dangerous.

No batteries with physical damage

if it is not just cosmetic damage then I cannot take it because it could be dangerous and cause damage to nearby cells if something happened in a larger battery system.

No fake, off brand batteries

They are unreliable and even sometimes dangerous; see the video in the “How to” section and/or you can look them up here.
